Visa documentation

Holders of diplomatic and service Montenegrin  passports do not need visa for Azerbaijan for staying up to 90 days.List ofcountries applying viza-free regime

To obtain a visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular section of the Diplomatic Mission:

For business, employment, cultural, sports, education and humanitarian visit visas:

• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form;( EVİSA.MFA.GOV.AZ );
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• An application filled-in by inviting party (download the form);
• Document  (signed and stamped letter of inviting party ) proving the reason for invitation;
• Copy of state registration certificate (for non-governmental organizations);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;

For official visit visa:

• Note Verbal from the of Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Embassy of Montenegro  or an international organization indicating official purposes of the visit;
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form EVİSA.MFA.GOV.AZ ;
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);

For personal visit visa:

• A notarized letter of invitation indicating the responsibility to pay for all expenses of travelling person during his stay in Azerbaijan from a citizen of Azerbaijan or a foreigner residing on permanent basis in Azerbaijan or a labor migrant with temporary resident status in Azerbaijan (only for family members of migrant worker);
• A copy of the ID card (a copy of residence card of foreigners) of inviting person; 
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form EVİSA.MFA.GOV.AZ ;
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period (if the inviting party doesn’t take the responsibility to pay for the possible medical services in Azerbaijan);
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;

For tourist visa:

• Tourist voucher from receiving travel agency in Azerbaijan or a document, confirming the reservation at a hotel, camping sites, tourist bases, etc (stamped and signed letter from a hotel indicating dates of reservation) and travel ticket;
• Original of passport and copy of its main pages (validity of passport must be more than three month from the expiration date of visa);
• One filled-in visa application form EVİSA.MFA.GOV.AZ ;
• Two biometric photos (3x4cm);
• A copy of medical insurance for travel period;
• A document proving the payment of visa fee;
